Ciscos Black Jack, aka Deacon, is our new stallion that we bought to replace Hombre. We are very happy with the foals he is putting on the ground as well as his intelligence and dispostion. He is very foundation bred(87% by FQHA rules) but has decent height to him. He currently stands about 15.1 1/2. He has 10 crosses back to King, 8 to Two Eyed Jack and 3 to both Wimpy and Leo. And also one to my favorite, Genuine Hombre, the sire of our old stallion, which is honestly what attracted me to him, besides his looks. We will be standing him to a limited number of outside mares this year. He is standing at my friends place Deerview Training Center in Kingwood, WV. He is currently being trained and shown by Joanne Brown and will be shown this year again in Ranch classes. You can contact me concerning breedings but Mare Care will be paid to Joanne when picking up mare.
We have shown Deacon in the the Ranch and Trail classes and he took Res. Champion Ranch Horse for the year as a 3 yr old and Grand Champion Ranch Horse as a 4 yr old at Mt. Top Saddle Club. He is now an AQHA point earner in Ranch Riding, having pointed in both of his shows so far in 2022.
